Judo Gis Built for the Dojo

Judo puts more strain on a uniform than almost any other martial art. Every grip, pull and throw tests the jacket, so it has to hold up session after session. USI Universal’s judo uniforms are made in Jalandhar, Punjab, for regular training, belt gradings and school or club programmes.

The Judo Bouncer Dress (417JB) is made from roughly 300 GSM poly-cotton in a canvas weave. The polyester adds strength and resists wear. The cotton keeps the gi breathable and absorbs sweat. It has a thick lapel that stands up to repeated gripping, a traditional Japanese cut that leaves room for throws and groundwork, and drawcord trousers for a secure, adjustable fit.
